Leipzig Balcony Garden Exchange

Half of Leipzig grows tomatoes on a two-square-meter balcony and the other half has empty pots and no clue. We swap seedlings, soil wisdom and watering duties across the neighbourhood — one shared map of balconies, one crate of cuttings that wanders from house to house. By August every railing in Plagwitz should be edible.
