A Maker Space for West Leipzig

There's an empty ground-floor hall on Gießerstraße that's been shuttered for two years, and every time I walk past it I imagine wood dust hanging in the north light. The idea is simple: one big shared workshop in the west where anyone can walk in and actually build the thing they've been sketching — a proper wood bench, a welding corner, electronics, a laser cutter. Right now it's just five of us who keep saying 'someone should', so we've decided to be the someone.
